Vital NZ have been supplying egg powder to the New Zealand market since 2001. We represent Parmovo from Italy. The big advantage of egg powder over fresh eggs is that whole egg powder has a 2-year shelf-life, and just 100 grams of whole egg powder rehydrates to 8 eggs! Meanwhile, 100 grams of egg white rehydrates to a whopping 25 eggs!
The change in egg farm law has also resulted in a NZ wide egg shortage, forcing many food manufactures to switch to egg powder as a long-term reliable substitute. Here at Vital NZ, we are able to import 20-foot and 40-foot shipping containers full of egg powders (whole egg powder, egg yolk powder, and egg white powder). This allows us to contract out large volumes and ensure continuous supply so that our customers are not run out of stock.
